Srinivasa Ramanujan, the legendary Indian mathematician, has inspired many mathematicians in India and worldwide. It is no surprise that
his name is associated with some major prizes and awards in mathematics.

there are at least two major
prizes awarded in mathematics, from India. These are awarded by SASTRA University and ICTP (along with the Gov. of India and IMU).
